The Shoreline Classic is the premier Road Race in downstate Illinois. In its 19th year, this event draws hundreds of runners and spectators from across the state of Illinois. The race provides both a competitive and recreational event for athletes while promoting the value of living a healthy lifestyle. The 5K and 15K races are run along the shores of beautiful Lake Decatur in a colorful fall setting. The 5K race offers runners a fast course, while the 15K features a rolling terrain.

Shoreline Squad Training Program

Kroger Post Race Party will feature food, energy drinks, beer, music and awards ceremony. Enjoy a range of different food items including sandwiches, fruit, and specialty items from Ray's Chilli.

Time Limits
In an effort to work with the community, we have to enforce a 12 minute/mile pace on the 15K course only. This translates to an approximate time of 1:50:00.
