The Shoreline Classic is the premier Road Race in downstate Illinois. In its 24th year, this event draws thousands of runners and spectators from across the state of Illinois. The race provides both a competitive and recreational event for athletes while promoting the value of living a healthy lifestyle. The 5K and 15K races are run along the shores of beautiful Lake Decatur in a colorful fall setting. The 5K race offers runners a fast course, while the 15K features a rolling terrain. The tot trots are a great way to involve our young runners while promoting Shoreline as a family event.

Shoreline Squad Training Program

Kroger Post Race Party will feature food, drinks provided by Refreshment Services Pepsi, music and awards ceremony. Enjoy a range of different food items including sandwiches, fruit, and specialty items from Ray's Chilli.

Time Limits
In an effort to work with the community due to the closure of several main traffic lanes, we have to enforce a 12 minute/mile pace on the 15K course only. This translates to an approximate time of 1:50:00.
